This page explains how Unbox Health rates products on the platform.
All products on Unbox Health are rated on a letter Rating scale of D to A+. The letter Rating is translated from a numerical Aggregate Score (0-10) as follows:

The Aggregate Score for a product is calculated using the following derived scores:
<aside> 📄 Label Accuracy Score: Label Accuracy Score (or LAS) is a measure of how accurately a product's nutritional label matches what Unbox Health found in lab tests.
It is calculated on a 0-10 scale - higher is better.

<aside> ☣️ Non-Toxicity Score: Non-Toxicity Score (or NTS) measures the degree to which a product passes toxicity limit checks in Unbox Health's lab tests.
It is calculated on a 0-10 scale - higher is better.

<aside> 🥗 Nutritional Profile Score: Nutritional Profile Score (or NPS) is a measure of the macronutrient composition of a product in the context of RDA guidelines set forth by the NIN & WHO. A product’s NPS also accounts for the types of food additives found in the product, if any.
It is calculated on a 0-10 scale - higher is better.
Note: Nutritional Profile Score is only applicable for food-related product categories. Detailed explanation can be found here.

To calculate Aggregate Score for food-related product categories - LAS, NTS & NPS are used:
